G & S Construction was founded in 1976, at a time when much of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula was still being built for the first time. What began as a small local contractor grew, project by project, into one of the region's most trusted commercial builders.
In the decades since, we've constructed schools and gymnasiums, clinics and health centers, fire stations and emergency services facilities, offices and retail centers, warehouses and storage, and the water and wastewater treatment plants that quietly keep peninsula communities running.
Our work has always stayed close to home. Building in Alaska means understanding frost depth and freight schedules, short summers and long winters, and the practical realities of challenging sites. It also means being accountable to your neighbors — the people who will use these buildings for the next fifty years.
Work done correctly the first time, by tradespeople who take pride in what they leave behind.
Schedules, logistics, and submittals thought through in advance — the difference between a good project and a difficult one.
Straight answers, fair pricing, and commitments kept, whether the news is easy or hard.
Respect for every owner's budget and for the short construction seasons Alaska gives us.
Clients, subcontractors, and suppliers who have worked with us for decades — often generations.
For nearly five decades, G & S Construction has focused exclusively on commercial construction across Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.
Today, G & S Construction continues to build the facilities that serve Alaska's Kenai Peninsula,
one project, one relationship, and one community at a time.
